Llanfairfechan Airways

Since moving back home to Wales and working from home I've noticed a droning noise over the hills most days. Working in 'data animation' I got to the bottom of it pretty quickly. It's a Beech T-6C Texan T1 RAF plane on training runs from Anglesey. I'm a bit fascinated with aviation data so made a quick animation of all its flights for the past couple of months - if all the flights took off at once!

Over 130 flights from March - August, that's one busy plane!
There is some clipping into the hills which I think is the over-exaggeration of the terrain, pretty sure the RAF don't fly through mountains.

Colourful skies! The sequel to last weeks RAF training plane visualisation over Wales. There are about 10 active planes (ZM323-332) from Anglesey (VLY) airport but I've just updated it with 4 for this (data-gathering capped with fr24 prem plans).
This is showing what would happen if all the flights for the past few months took off at once, so the skies aren't really this busy!
